Best brokers to work for from a new agents prospective? Texas?

Soon to pass state exam for real estate salesmen licensee. Was curious as to a good selection of brokers to interview with to hold my license.
Was thinking that a broker with best education courses, and the most guidance along the way would be of high value as I am young and new to the business of real-estate. In 6 months to a years time I want to buy a duplex to live/ rent. So of course the brokers that would be willing tohelp give me the real world training and guidance to align with those goals are a must!!!!!! I live in Houston, Texas.

In MA most brokers are eager to take on new recruits. Interview them. Up here they are all structured different. Some will pay for your cards, signs and advertising while others want you to pay for everything. Education is obviously a key. The small companies will have little or no resources for this. The last thing is the commission structure. For a beginner I would suggest minimizing the up front costs and worry more about the commissions later. Welcome to the club. Good luck!
