I'm a nurse and lately, I feel like I hate my job. Going to work everyday is a drag to me. I'm constantly thinking of retirement. I think about it everyday. I'm less than 40 years old. I have been counting the days and hours for the day to retire. I dream of  retiring young. I have real estate investment, both in the USA and in the carribbean. My son and I can live off the rental income overseas which is more than we need to live. What is happening here? Do you think it would be a good idea to make my retirement dream come true or continue in my present situation?

it is hard to get a job right now. IF you have a new job lined up, retire.
