you'll have to get a job if you want to make money but you can start off doing small jobs for neighbors... mowing lawns, baby sitting, cleaning, yard work, car washing, etc.
just ask people if they need anything done and the worst they can say is no.

Even if you do not have a job, you have to learn to still make yourself productive. For now, you must learn to save some extra dime that your parents gives you as your allowance.

There's a major trick to saving - first you have to have money coming in.

It was a long time ago, but I used to do all kinds of things to earn money when I was young: cutting grass and tidying up yards, helping people with their groceries to get them home, babysitting outside the family, trading things with people, doing tutoring (in Maths and the sciences), and a lot more.

I didn't have a job, but I constantly looked for what I could do to help people with ordinary, everyday things that saved them time and effort.

I didn't make much money, but it was enough to get many things I wanted and needed without having to rely on my parents, who were definitely not rich or even well-off, but then, the neighbourhood I was brought up in consisted of many people in the same circumstances (read "lower socio-economic strata of society),
