it is safer since you can only spend what you have  on your account. even if it gets hacked, the hacker can only spend what is on your deposit account.

I think it is what they call as  Visa Electron. I use it quite often in
online transactions since i find it way safer than regular credit cards.

Visa Debit card is the one i use also when buying websites

VCC is very convenient and in some way or another hacker proof but it would be nice to get a real Visa Debit or Visa Credit card.
